POTLEY HILL PRESCHOOL: Outdoor area rejuvenated for next academic year

An outdoor maintenance company in Yateley, Hampshire, has helped a preschool rejuvenate its outdoor areas ready for the new term. The company offered the school this free service during August to make sure the children would have a safe and pleasant environment for their outdoor learning when they return to school. The team began with artificial grass rejuvenation that involved cleaning and disinfecting the area followed by a wash and power brush.

They then completed a full power wash of all the patios and pathways. This helped to remove any dirt and grime, making them less slippy and more safe for the children.

Finally, the team completed a thorough wash and clean of the decking area.

A member of the team from Potley Hill said: "Team OMC did an excellent job cleaning our astroturf and soft surface at preschool.

"The children have so much fun transporting resources, (especially sand) around, we tend to end up with most of it in the astroturf and the staff find it almost impossible to clean it out with brooms and jetwashers.

"They will be so happy to come back at the start of term to such an aesthetically pleasing sight. It certainly lifts the spirit."
