The City of Midland stated this week that work continues on a parks project in southwest Midland. 

New artificial turf fields are being installed in the baseball quad at Beal Park. Artificial turf projects have been taking place over the past few years at parks and fields across the city and every inside the school district as a transition from grass fields to turf surfaces takes place.
