Ohio addresses concerns about its stadium turf

What is the current trend in the sports world.

In the first two home games at Ohio State University, the turf of the Ohio Stadium has always been a problem. Unfortunately, Buckeye will have to wait longer to find a solution to the problem.

The last time "The Horseshoe" was changed on the surface was in 2014. This means that we have experienced seven years of tempering, and wear and tear are beginning to appear.

On Tuesday, an Ohio State University spokesperson told reporters that the school plans to replace the lawn in 2022.

Ohio State University plans to replace the turf of the Ohio Stadium next year. The current turf was installed in 2014 and guys are running around. There are a lot of #turftalk today

So far, the Buckeyes have hosted Oregon and Tulsa this season. In these two games, players from both teams encountered problems staying upright on the turf.

You can see an example in the video below.

In addition, the scarlet logo on the court looks a bit faded, which makes sense considering the age of the artificial surface. There is no doubt that the turf of Ohio Stadium needs to be remodeled.

But for now, old carpets still exist.
