The pre-cut artificial turf infill option matches the company's Drivable Grass system.

San Diego-Soil conservation products launched Drivable Turf, a pre-cut artificial turf solution suitable for its permeable and flexible concrete pavement system Drivable Grass.

Drivable Grass is a soil conservation system developed in 2007. The system can be filled with seeds, turf, or several dry filling options, depending on the application and preferences. It can replace poured concrete, asphalt and traditional pavers.

The Drivable Turf has a 4 ft x 4 ft section, which fits the void space of Drivable Grass. The pre-cut artificial turf is installed in combination with Drivable Grass, eliminating the need for measurement, cutting and space, thereby reducing man-hours and costs. The drivable lawn can be used as a filling option for sidewalk lawn replacement and daily driving applications.

"Drivable Turf provides solutions to many design challenges," said Julia Schmid, Marketing Manager of Soil Retention. "It breaks the traditional hardscape by giving it a green appearance without the need for irrigation. The product is architecturally attractive because of its simple appearance and straight lines, and low maintenance costs."
